The final injury reports for the Titans-Cowboys

The final injury reports for the Titans-Cowboys matchup on Monday Night Football were released today. The news was mostly good for the Titans. Starting safety Kenny Vaccaro will make his return in his home state of Texas Ben Jones Jersey , coming back from a dislocated elbow suffered in Week 4 against the Eagles. Getting Vaccaro back is big for the Titans defense as Kendrick Lewis has struggled to replace him in the lineup over the past three games. The Titans will also get Quinton Spain and Josh Kline back this week. Spain missed the end of the Ravens game and the entire Chargers game with a shoulder injury while Kline left the Chargers game during the final drive with an ankle issue. The Titans have only had their starting offensive line intact for an entire game once this season. That just happened to be the best offensive performance of the season against the Eagles. The Titans will hope to see the big boys make it through this game unscathed. Corey Davis will be a full go as expected after landing on the injury report with a hamstring early in the week. This seems to be part of the teamís plan to manage his reps in an effort to keep him healthy for Will Compton has a chance to return to the lineup from a hamstring injury suffered at the end of the Eagles game. Heís listed as questionable. With Wesley Woodyard, Rashaan Evans, and Jayon Brown ahead of him at inside linebacker, Compton is more of a special teams contributor and depth player right now. The bad news from a Titans perspective is that Derrick Morgan is officially out for this game with a shoulder injury. Morganís impact has been limited this season, but heís still a veteran pass rusher who has a history of being productive. Brian Orakpo, Harold Landry, Kamalei Correa, and Sharif Finch will all likely get more work in Morganís absence. The Cowboys will be without pass rushing defensive tackle David Irving and speedy gadget receiver Tavon Austin on Monday night as they have been ruled out. Irving is s particularly tough loss for Dallas as heís easily the teamís best interior pass rusher. The Cowboys have two players that are listed as questionable. Edge rusher Randy Gregory and two time All-Pro guard Zack Martin are both dealing with knee injuries and could be ruled in or out closer to game time. Martin is the best guard in the NFL so him being out or limited would make a big difference in what the Cowboys can do up front. Starting tight end Geoff Swaim is listed as doubtful with a knee injury as well. Heís been decent in his first season as a starter, but this isnít a position where the Cowboys excel. If Swaim canít go Blake Jarwin and Rico Gathers would fill in.What have we learned through 2 weeks of Titans training camp? The Titans will be on the field this morning for their 10th practice of training camp. At this point we have started to see some trends emerge in what has basically been 2 weeks of practice. Here are some things I think we have learned:Malcolm Butler was worth the money.Sure, we havenít seen him play a down yet in a football game, but he is out there making plays every single day. Not only that, but he has brought an energy to camp that seems to be infectious. Butler is the new guy on the block, but he has come right in and fit in with a position group that seems to be the tightest of any on the roster. A big money free agent isnít always a tone-setter, but Butler has been just that.Corey Davis is going to be a star in this offense.Davisís talent has never been a question. We saw what he could do last year when healthy. This summer he has been healthy, knock on wood http://www.thetitanslockerroom.com/authe...umphries-jersey , and is making plays every day. There have been some drops at times, but he seems to come back really well from those on the next play. The sky is the limit for this guy.Taywan Taylor is going to play the X.Last year Taylor was a slot guy. Thatís not going to be the case in this offense. It will be interesting to see what the wide receiver rotation looks like when Rishard Matthews comes back from whatever injury he has, but so far Taylor has taken pretty much 100% of his snapson the outside. We are going to learn nothing about injured players until a week 1 injury report is due.Mike Vrabel said this weekend that he isnít required to give an injury report until week 1, so there would be zero information on guys that are being held out. As I said above, we have no idea what Rishardís injury is. Rashaan Evans has missed more than a week with what Vrabel called ďheat related issuesĒ the day it happened, but that obviously isnít the case.*Deontay Burnett should have gotten drafted.Everyone is going to fall in love with Burnett, and granted, he is out there making plays every day. However, I have to caution you with what I told Mike on Twitter the other day:You do
